CPI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join its Facilities Management (FM) Team based at NET Park, Sedgefield.
The FM team plays a vital role in ensuring CPI’s sites operate safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and contractual requirements. As a Facilities Coordinator, the successful candidate will support the smooth running of facilities activities across our sites, ensuring that all FM services meet legal, statutory, and operational standards.
Working closely with Technology Team Managers, the Maintenance Team Leader, contractors, and wider operational colleagues, the Facilities Coordinator will support compliance, manage service delivery, and help drive continuous improvement across our facilities operations.
Key tasks
Key tasks in the role will include:
Support compliance with all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE), GMP, Data Integrity (DI), and quality requirements.
Monitor and audit FM contractor activities, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and standards are met.
Coordinate weekly FM reviews and ensure actions are logged, escalated, and completed.
Manage day-to-day FM activity including maintenance requests, reactive works, and service delivery performance.
Provide accurate reporting, documentation, and audit trails for meetings and FM-related activity.
Support energy, waste, and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with Procurement and Operations.
Assist with estates management activities including moves, signage, refurbishment coordination, and landlord liaison.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE Level 4 in Maths and English (or equivalent) and will have;
Significant experience providing facilities support in a similar-sized organisation.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Experience working with external contractors and stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Confident user of Microsoft Office programs.
A full UK license or access to transport to be able to travel to other sites.
It would also be advantageous if the successful candidate was educated to HNC/Level 3 (or equivalent) in a facilities related subject, held an IT related qualification and had;
Practical knowledge of ESOS or ISO 14001 and its application within the workplace.
Budget management experience.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft IT platforms such as SharePoint or databases.
