CPI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced GMP Operator to join the established and growing Operations team to support the operation of the GMP Manufacturing suites. This role will report into the GMP Facility Lead, with support from the GMP Process Lead. This is a really exciting time to join as you will be working within our state of the art facility, the RNA Centre of Excellence in Darlington and have the chance to contribute to the manufacture of the latest innovative RNA pharmaceutical products.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the cGMP Grade D & C clean room manufacturing suites. Participating in the end-of-campaign batch cleaning, routine daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and any out of hours ad-hoc cleaning activities of the classified cleanrooms. Ensuring cleaning activities are carried out to a high-level completing line clearance, component preparation tasks and stock replenishment activities in accordance with cGMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). As well as meeting the KPI’s for the running and the cleanliness of the state-of-the-art GMP Clean rooms.

Participating in the management of the laundry service required for clean room garments, ensuring collection and replenishment activities are completed.
Ensuring critical clean room consumable, gowning garments are replenished regularly, ensuring no interruption to the manufacturing activities within the clean room suites.
Critical to ensure timelines are met with no interruptions to Time Critical Manufactures.
Following daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, in conjunction with the GMP MSAT team, ensuring cleaning consumables and resource are available to maintain and clean the GMP suites pre, post and during manufactures.
Ensuring all training within health & safety, hygiene, and CPI’s GMP policy’s & procedures are up to date.
Following and applying Good Manufacturing Practice, carrying out quality and safety housekeeping patrols as required.
Performing a variety of cleaning and hygiene tasks as detailed within the cleaning procedures.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level 9 – 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths and:
Have experience in cleaning techniques, ideally with specific experience working in clean room Grade D & C.
Have experience working in a GMP environment or experience working within a document-controlled environment ideally within either pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or food manufacture.
Be able to demonstrate confidence to use your judgement and initiative within routine activities, as well as an understanding of when to seek advice from managers or colleagues.

Experience in environmental monitoring.
Experience working shift patterns.
Experience in packaging, inspection & storage of cGMP manufactured products.
Familiarity with COSHH & risk assessments.
