As part of this Laboratory Scientist Degree Apprenticeship in Chemistry, you’ll learn cutting edge laboratory techniques, explore how chemistry is used to solve real‑world problems, and develop the skills to analyse and understand complex scientific data. At CPI we work with businesses, universities, and researchers to develop, test, and scale up new technologies — This could mean anything from development of new medicines and vaccines to sustainable materials, foods, and other novel formulations. You can be sure you will be involved in research and innovation that makes a genuine impact. As an apprentice, you’ll be supported by experienced colleagues, structured training, and a dedicated learning provider to help you develop the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

We’re looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, committed to personal development, and ready to be part of a supportive and collaborative team. You’ll also have a strong background in chemistry, ideally with A‑level Chemistry (or an equivalent qualification), supported by another science or maths‑based subject. We’ll also consider applicants with an Applied Science qualification depending on relevance.
Apprenticeship Eligibility: To apply for this apprenticeship, you must:
Be 16 or over
Not be in full-time education
Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
Have the right to work in the UK
